Website Portfolio Manager

Core Job Functions:
- Responsible for the overall management and accountability of the organization's public websites and intranet.
- Develop short and long-term strategy for each website as well as the overall portfolio, maintains roadmaps to plan and execute against individual initiatives.
- Understands the goals of the organization, various lines of business and other constituencies and how these are fulfilled by the website portfolio.
- Oversees the development, production, and ongoing maintenance of all web assets to realize usability and business value.
- Ensures site content is delivered in a timely manner, consistent with voice, brand and established standards of usability and information design.
- Ensures site information architectures are user-centric, scalable, intuitive and easy to use.
- Serves as an advocate for the website strategy.
- Negotiate priorities and solution design with senior management.
- Manages staff to achieve goals and objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience managing large, consumer-facing websites in a corporate setting.
- Must be a strong leader and team player capable of performing successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience leading teams to generate and fulfill web development and marketing strategies.
- Extensive experience in web design, information architecture, content development, web technologies, and general web best-practices.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to drive improvements.
- Experience with web marketing campaigns, including direct to consumer campaigns and results measurement.
- Experience organizing and prioritizing change requests and production releases.
- Experience setting and managing development and implementation of standards and procedures.
- Experience with Web 2.0 technologies and concepts and how they can enhance usability and business value.
- Experience with usability techniques and information mapping is preferred.
- Experience with requirements analysis is preferred.
- Experience with design patterns is preferred.
- Experience managing outside venders is preferred.
- Formal project management experience is preferred.
Minimum Experience and Training:
Applicants for this position should have proven experience designing and managing large, consumer-facing websites in a corporate setting. Applicants should have five years of website design and development experience and at least one year management experience. Applicants should be familiar with Web 2.0 concepts and how it applies to user-interface designs. Incumbent will be highly collaborative with a strategic focus, excellent organizational skills, strong communication and people skills and the ability to manage multiple staff and ongoing projects. Applicant must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
