UX Program Manager / Designer

Our client is looking for an experienced UX Program Manager/Designer to help design a world-class user experience for a complex IT product. Ideal candidates have knowledge and experience with all areas of the UX discipline – design strategy, design research, interaction design, and information architecture. This is an onsite, long-term contract in Redmond, WA and comes with full benefits. Please note you must be in the Seattle area or ready to relocate to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative designs and modify existing designs using UX guidelines, and usability and focus group findings
- Produce wireframes, mockups, HTML/CSS prototypes, PPTs
- Prepare screens for and participate in usability studies
- Work closely with feature PMs, Usability Researchers, and UX designers
Experience:
- Ability to rapidly create and iterate design flows, mockups, wireframes, prototypes
- Work independently to understand requirements and scenarios and be an advocate for great customer experiences
- Familiarity with iterative design process and user-centered design principles
- Operations/IT Management experience (this could be a "Nice to have" for the right candidate)
- Strong Adobe CS skills especially Fireworks
- Self-starter - excellent communication skills.
