Description
Care2 is looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to join our rapidly growing UX team. As a designer at Care2, you will:
- Lead the design of intuitive, usable, and engaging products that support customer needs and business goals
- Work with talented engineers to build innovative designs using advanced Web technologies
- Work on interfaces that range from large-scale social networking services to smaller core tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design effort from conceptualization through implementation. Translate user requirements into highly usable Web applications in partnership with Product Management.
- Design wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate interactions to internal executive stakeholders and project team members.
- Conduct informal usability studies of prototypes and existing products.
- Collaborate with branding/marketing and visual design specialists to support the visual style
- Create, document, and evangelize new user interface guidelines and standards. -Ensure a consistent look and feel across the applications. Elevate the design of our site to a consistently high standard of user-centered design
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of user experience design including at least 4 years of interaction design experience for large-scale websites or social networks.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or equivalent experience.
- Strong interaction design skills and proven ability to create usable designs
- In-depth knowledge of design tools including Photoshop, and Illustrator
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design methods and best practices
- Independent self-starter with ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work as part of a team with product managers, visual designers, engineers, and others
