An award-winning, integrated agency in San Francisco is searching for a full-time Interaction Designer. Working on several well-known accounts, the Interaction Designer will complete a variety of web projects. This is a great opportunity to join a wonderful team and really make a difference in a creatively driven agency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the interaction design of a highly complex, large-scale project
  • Evidence of exceptional and innovative interface design work
  • Strong conceptual skills and a strong understanding of human factors and usability best practices
  • A deep understanding of how web-based, presentation-layer technologies work and how to exploit them (including DHTML, Flash and AJAX)
  • Proven experience partnering with a strong visual design team
  • Translation skills to collaborate with, and provide feedback to, technology teams
  • Excellent client presentation skills and the ability to successfully shepherd clients towards the desired design outcome
  • An ability to interpret customer research into meaningful design
  • A vision for what is possible when blending rich branded experiences with useful, interesting tools
  • A desire to do something different and a willingness to take risks
