The User Experience professional will work with strategy, line of business, product management, and technology groups to:

  • Audit existing business applications, client feedback and competitive research and develop benchmarks for evaluating designs going forward
  • Develop appropriate metrics to evaluate the Strategy Group's work going forward
  • Interview business stakeholders and clients to clearly understand both internal and external requirements
  • Create the vision of the future state of the applications striving to prove the value of a top-tier Client Experience
  • Ensure consistency in implementation of future state designs with iterative development of usability and design standards
  • Oversee planning and execution of usability testing
  • Evangelize the importance of true usability and user-centered approach to technology design and development

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated love for the Internet and a vision of its transformative potential
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience, including designing extremely usable, client-oriented, and transactional web-based interfaces
  • Solid academic background, demonstrated work experience or degree in Interaction Design and/or Human-Computer Interaction
  • Familiarity with current Internet technology approaches (e.g. service-oriented architecture, portal, content management, entitlements, and user-centered design)
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, research methods such as user interviews, surveys and observations, prototyping, card sorting, and persona development
  • Strong Information Architecture skills
  • Design, analysis and documentation of testing and/or surveys
  • Experience working with both senior and project team-level members and must be able to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Should enjoy working on multiple projects concurrently
  • Financial applications and/or systems experience are highly preferred

Successful candidates will join the User Experience Group that supports the Client Access Group of Treasury Securities Services. The User Experience Group is growing substantially as the company increases its commitment to usability.
