Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS)

The Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) is the Canadian society for computing professionals.

The Canadian Human-Computer Communications Society (CHCCS), http://www.cs.ubc.ca/spider/ksbooth/gi/chccs, is a Special Interest Group (SIG) within CIPS. It is "dedicated to advancing research and education in the fields of computer graphics and human-computer interaction." Membership is restricted to CIPS members. CHCCS sponsors the annual Graphics Interface (GI) conference.
